Microsoft is optimizing the interface of OneNote for Windows: By eliminating unused space and repositioning a search box, users have more space for their notes, drawings and tables. The changes will appear in May 2025.
Microsoft continues to work on its new email program. The calendar will soon also be usable offline. Users can then create and edit appointments without an internet connection – a function that many users have sorely missed.
Microsoft has confirmed a “critical service issue” in various Microsoft 365 services. However, the message initially only said that North America was affected, but users in Germany also reported restrictions.
Microsoft makes it easier to use classic and new Outlook in parallel under Windows. Users will soon be able to switch between the two versions much more easily. Redmond is responding to criticism from users who continue to prefer the old email client.
