Tesla’s sales figures in Europe continue to plummet – by up to 81% in some markets. While the overall market for electric vehicles is growing, the US manufacturer is increasingly losing market share to Chinese and European competitors.
Tesla’s sales in Germany and the UK fell to their lowest level in two years in April, despite the growing electric market. The numbers are dramatic: just 885 Teslas were sold in Germany and only 512 in the UK.
Tesla stops developing the range extender for the Cybertruck. The additional battery intended as a solution to the disappointing range will never appear. Customers only receive a brief message – there is no apology.
Tesla is testing a new pricing model for its Superchargers. Instead of fixed time tariffs, the electric car manufacturer now adjusts the costs dynamically – the idea is not new, but should now be perfected. The aim is also to reduce waiting times at charging stations.
